Ram calls himself an “engineer with a heart”. An electronics engineer by qualification with a MSc in Robotics and Control, Ram started his career in India as an R&D engineer before moving into the sales and service functions.
He was managing the business for a multinational company in a couple of countries before moving to the UK to do his MBA and PhD.
He completed his MBA specialising in business strategy. He ran a consultancy firm specialising in strategy and customer management.
He discovered a gap in the market place for an approach that correlated strategic business perspectives and individual emotional needs to achieve and deliver synergy, coherence and sustainable performance improvement.
Accordingly, he elected to study for his PhD. As part of his research, he developed a framework to measure the value of human capital.
He jointly runs RiddleBox that, inter alia, helps organisations understand the impact of people's emotions and thinking on engagement and the impact it has on performance using some proprietary models. He has successfully combined insights from various branches of science from Management to Biology to develop his solutions.
Ram has over 24 years’ experience and a depth of experience that covers strategy, employee experience and customer experience management.
Ram specialises in developing and customising measurement tools to profile people, performance and processes. Currently RiddleBox caters to clients primarily in UK - organisations like Hilton, Spire Health care, National Express, First Group, Spire Health Care, NHS etc,.
He is the author of three books; one on customer service and two on employee experience.
In his spare time he designs and creates systems to automate his home. His dream is control his better half with a remote control some day...
His passion for movies led him to complete a course on script writing and direction and he has a whopping 2000 movies in his collection. He hopes to pen and direct a Bollywood block buster some day...
Jeremy has a Finance background. After obtaining a degree in Economics and Politics and a Post Graduate Qualification in Corporate Finance from London Business School he worked in the city trading options and derivatives for Morgan Grenfell Securities.
He subsequently became a Director at Granville Private Equity and then Head of Private Equity at KPMG, structuring management buy ins and buy-outs.
He went on to complete an MBA at Henley Management School in 1999.
Throughout his business career he has been passionate about team performance and sports coaching.
He has been a coach to the Great Britain rowing squad since 1994 and he coached at the world championships in 2004. Jeremy’s MBA dissertation was on the interface between business and sport.
Jeremy is rated as one of the most inspirational speakers heard by most of his audiences. The core of his presentations focuses on the scientific basis of emotions, experience and exceptional performance. His talks include an amazing live demonstration of what impairs brain function under pressure. He has captivated small and large groups (up to 1,200 people).
He is equally comfortable speaking to one-star generals and NATO commanders at the Defence Leadership Centre, academics at Cambridge University, or small and large groups at corporate events in major multi-nationals.
